2019 LAKE TRAVIS SOFTBALL COACHES
   Coach Coleman grew up in Davidson, Oklahoma where he played baseball and basketball. After graduating he was drafted by the Giants and Indians but signed a baseball scholarship with NCTC in Gainesville. Following a one-year stint at NCTC he transferred to Seminole State College where he helped his team to a 56-5 record and a JUCO World Series Runner-Up Finish. He went on to play at the University of Arkansas Little Rock and the University of Central Oklahoma after Seminole. He finished his playing career in the Frontier League with the River City Rascals.
         Coach Coleman enters his sixteenth year of coaching; thirteenth as a head softball coach. Coach Coleman comes to Lake Travis HS after making previous stops at Randall HS and Celina HS. At Randall HS he led the softball team to the regional semi-finals, which was a first for the softball program. While at Celina he helped build one of the top softball programs in the state and led the softball team to three state tournament appearances: 2006 State Semi-Finalists, 2009 State Runner-Ups and 2011 State Champions. In twelve years of coaching softball Coach Coleman has amassed 316 wins and 127 losses. Coach Coleman and Natalie have three wonderful children Savannah 24, Caelen 22, and Emma 16 who plays on the Varsity team. Coach Coleman is truly blessed to be a part of Lake Travis High School and he can’t wait to see what this year’s team accomplishes.

Coach Alvarez is entering his first season at Lake Travis High School after coaching the previous five years in Austin ISD at Austin McCallum High School. During his time at Austin McCallum, Coach Alvarez coached the football and baseball team. He is a graduate of Texas State University and will also serve as an assistant football coach in the fall and teach Special Education at Lake Travis High School.

Coach Mohammed grew up in Austin, Texas playing volleyball and softball. She attended Texas State University, graduating with a Masters in Secondary Education. Coach Mohammed is starting her first season at Lake Travis High School after coaching volleyball and softball at Connally High School in Pflugerville, Texas. She will be serving as an assistant softball and basketball coach while teaching social studies at Lake Travis High School.
